BAMBITCHELL is an artistic collaboration based in Toronto, Canada between Sharlene Bamboat and Alexis Mitchell.

Their research-based practice employs a wide-range of media, and playful re-imaginings of historical records and documents to examine the complexities and mundanities embedded in histories of colonialism and militarism. They have exhibited at festivals and galleries such as the Images Festival, (Toronto, 2014), The Art Gallery of Windsor (2015) and Articule Gallery, (Montreal 2015); have given numerous public lectures, such as at the Zurich University of the Arts (2016), and the College of Art Association (New York, 2015), and are part of a wide range of publications including the book Mobile Desires: The Erotics and Politics of Mobility Justice. The duo recently completed a residency at the Santa Fe Art Institute in New Mexico, U.S.A, and are currently in residence at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, Germany.
